Unlike other quitting programs, when I quit, I focused on a habit-based health-centric approach to remove alcohol. Early on, I found that my drinking was not necessarily controlled by “cravings” but more so habits that had been tied to social and stress-induced drinking for 20+ years. I was a heavy drinker and I had NO idea!
